Nova Steel to open Ohio Tube Mills to support company’s growth strategy

Nova Steel will install two new Electric Resistance Welding (ERW) tube mills in Delta, Ohio. To start, the new facility will produce hollow structural sections for a diverse number of industries from Construction Applications and Infrastructure to Mining, Solar Energy and Defense. The new facility under construction in the Northwestern Ohio area represents more than a $70 Million investment for the company – a strategic position chosen to better serve an existing customer base and support the company’s overall growth strategy from the region.

The company will create more than 100 new jobs at this facility which will occupy more than 350,000 square feet of space in Delta, Ohio once complete in Summer 2022.

Several factors influenced the site’s decision including major transportation advantages such as direct rail access and heavy load limits on highways between Ohio, Michigan and Canada as well as the abundance of suitable business opportunities in the area.
