The ideal candidate would have experience in working in an ever-changing, fast-moving, and evolving environment. Candidates who have worked within a manufacturing/distribution environment are highly preferred.

Job Description

This position will support the various plant floor operational needs as part of the overall department teamwork initiative. This position will report to the Supervisor (or designate)

Job Skills and Knowledge:

  • Competently executing the change-over and set-up as per work instructions
  • Thoroughly understanding and efficiently performing designated tasks in the process
  • Visually inspecting and dimensionally verifying parts
  • Performing general maintenance (i.e. Oiling, greasing, cleaning) on and around equipment
  • Housekeeping at designated workstation
  • Record keeping
  • Follow written and/or verbal instructions.
  • Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Qualifications

  • Completion of high school diploma or GED
  • General mechanical knowledge
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills are required.
  • Must be able to work in a team orientated environment.
  • Must be able to follow instructions, and safety rules.
