Job Description

This position will support the maintenance department needs as part of the overall department teamwork initiative. This position will report to the Maintenance manager (or designate)

Job Skills and Knowledge:

  • Problem-solving skills, identify issues, analyze the problem, and take actions to improve the outcome.
  • Able to review, repair, maintain, and test systems to improve business operations.
  • Implement QA quality tests using scripts that automatically test system operations.
  • Write code to automate specific processes.
  • Install databases and applications crucial to automation.
  • Configure hardware and electronic parts.
  • Test operating system performance
  • Identify quality issues and bugs in service, development, and business processes.
  • Track automation changes, results, improvements to manage the changes implemented.
  • Provide support to the maintenance and operations team to achieve the goals and objectives for quality and productivity while providing ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Supporting the maintenance team and operations in resolving problems on lasers
  • Performing and instructing operations in laser start-up procedures and machine operation
  • Ensuring production equipment operates efficiently by monitoring and performing laser maintenance daily.
  • Responsible for maintenance on automated check fixtures
  • Responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance inspections on lasers
  • Responsible for ensuring effective reporting and handoff of information between shifts on issues affecting the safe and efficient operations of the facility.
  • Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
  • Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diplomas or equivalent required. maintenance experience preferred.
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Strong organizational skills are required.
  • Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team orientated environment.
  • Must be able to follow instructions, safety rules and regulations.
